However, vaccination is another tool to protect your birds against infectious diseases. Information on the proper vaccines for your area could be found at your local agricultural extension offices or at feed stores that sell vaccine. We won't go into too much detail about vaccination but you should know that vaccinating your birds will not guarantee that they will be free of getting an infectious disease. The truth is, vaccination will never protect all of your flock, all of the time, so never assume you can replace good biosecurity with vaccination.
