CDFA Informational Webinars

CDFA will host two webinars to go over program requirements and the application process. These will be held as joint webinars for AMMP, DDRDP, and the Dairy Plus Program. Please view the webinar Agenda to see the breakdown of times for each program – participants are welcome to join for any or all portions. Each webinar will cover the same material. Participants can attend by registering for webinar access:

Responses to general or programmatic questions received during informational webinars or by email will be posted according to the schedule below. Please note that CDFA is unable to advise and/or provide applicants with any information regarding specific grant applications during the solicitation process.

What is the dairy digester research and development program?

CDFA’s Dairy Digester Research and Development Program (DDRDP) provides financial assistance for the installation of dairy digesters in California, which will result in reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

What is a dairy digester?

Dairy digesters are a renewable technology that uses livestock manure to produce methane, which is a renewable source of electrical energy generation and transportation fuel. The technology has many environmental and social benefits. More information on dairy digesters can be found on the CalEPA Dairy Digesters webpage and the USEPA AgSTARAnaerobic Digestion webpage.

How is DDRDP funded?

CDFA receives funding from California Climate Investments for methane emissions reductions from dairy and livestock operations.
