Brianna St. Pierre

Brianna is the Assistant Director for the State Water Resources Control Board’s Office of Sustainable Groundwater Management, overseeing the implementation of the State Water Board’s responsibilities under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). Brianna has been with the Water Boards since 2008 implementing and leading groundwater programs at the Lahontan Regional Water Board and the State Water Board. She was the statewide program manager for the Irrigated (Agricultural) Lands, Biosolids, Composting, Confined Animals, and Land Disposal and Mining Programs. Most recently, Brianna oversaw the Groundwater Protection Section in the Water Board’s Division of Water Quality, which included topics related to Materials Management, Discharges to Land, and Cannabis. Prior to her work at the Water Boards, she worked in consulting with experience in mining exploration and environmental remediation. Brianna has a BS in Geophysics from UC Riverside and an MBA from Penn State University.
