| Water is essential for birds Give your bird plenty of clean water everyday. You've probably noticed that birds like to dunk their food in water, which results in a soupy mixture. Unfortunately, that soupy mix turns into a breeding ground for harmful bacteria that can make your bird sick. Excessive droppings and decaying food also promote the growth of germs. Therefore, remove these from the cage on a daily basis. |
