Glassy-winged Sharpshooter (GWSS) Treatment Information
What to Know
Pierce's Disease is caused by a xylem-restricted bacterium which is vectored by the Glassy-winged Sharpshooter.
The treatment for glassy-winged sharpshooters will be conducted by licensed Pest Control Operators under the supervision of your local county agricultural commissioner, or by trained and licensed personnel from the agricultural commissioner’s staff.
