Pursuant to Chapter 1.5 (commencing with section 9201) of Part 1, of Division 5, of the Food and Agricultural Code, the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Animal Health Branch has no authority to authorize the production / distribution of biologics in California. This authority resides with the United States Department of Agriculture, Center for Veterinary Biologics.
