- Proposals to Adopt, Amend or Repeal Certain Milk Producers Security Trust Fund Regulations:
The Department of Food and Agriculture (Department), Milk Pooling Branch, had proposed to amend section 2100 Definition of Beneficial Ownership Interest, Title 3. Food and Agriculture, Division 3. Economics, Chapter 3. Milk Stabilization and Marketing of Milk and Dairy Products, Subchapter 4. Milk Producers Security Trust Fund, Article 1. Eligibility of Coverage of the California Code of Regulations. It was approved and filed with the Secretary of State, with an effective date of October 1, 2015.

Rice Identity Preservation

Emergency Regulation The Department of Food and Agriculture (Department), Marketing Branch and the Rice Certification Act Committee, proposed an emergency regulation and amendment to existing regulations which amended sections 2850-2856 of the Rice Identity Preservation regulation and adopted section 2852.5 under the Code of California Regulations, Title 3, Division 4, Chapter 2, Subchapter 5. It was approved and filed with the Secretary of State, with an effective Date of March 13, 2017.
On November 7, 2017, OAL approved a readoption of the Emergency Regulations which was in effect until February 5, 2018 (unless an additional extension is approved). During this 180-day period, CDFA completed the regular rulemaking process which made these emergency regulations permanent.

Fairs and Expositions
- AB 1499 regulations:
The Proposed Regulation will create a new chapter (Chapter 3) under Division 7, Title 3 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR). This addition to the CCR is to specify the procedures for fairs to qualify, apply, and ensure eligibility for funds available for specified purposes from sales and use tax revenue generated at state-designated fairs; they will also allow the Department to ensure compliance with the requirements put in place by the enabling statutes (2018: AB 1499 and AB 635).
