Erin Uchida
Erin is a Staff Air Pollution Specialist at the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and works on strategies to reduce agricultural emissions from mobile sources. Erin began her career at CARB in 2008 as a student assistant and then Air Resources Engineer, implementing the In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets Regulation and supporting other regulatory efforts. Since 2015, Erin has worked on mobile source incentives and supported CARB’s Mobile Source Control Division’s efforts to quantify greenhouse gas, criteria pollutant, and toxic air contaminant emission reductions for a variety of incentive programs. Erin served as the lead staff on the development of the Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program, which funds agricultural vehicle and equipment replacements, and continues to work with air districts on the implementation of the FARMER Program.
