Building the Ag Workforce for Today and Tomorrow
As California agriculture continues using technology-driven practices, new skills are needed, but farmworkers and students lack access to the training required for these careers. To address this gap, the Specialty Crop Workforce Development Program, a network of partner organizations, is uniting specialty crop employers, community colleges and others to train for the skills needed today and in the future.
The program focuses on engaging with specialty crop employers, developing training and curriculum, conducting outreach and education to farmworkers and the future workforce, and elevating small farms and farmers. Learn about what the program can offer you:
