Press Release Mailing List Contact Form

CDFA Office of Public Affairs

Thank you for your interest in the California Department of Food and Agriculture's Press Release mailing list. By using this service, you are immediately notified when a new press release is announced. Please be assured that the CDFA does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

CDFA web sites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the CDFA, and (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the CDFA web site, or the public.

Many CDFA web sites use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the CDFA services or web sites you visit.

This site, and many other CDFA web sites, use a programming functionality called a Session Variable. Session Variables require that a clients browser must have cookies enabled for them to work properly because session variables use a cookie called a Session ID. However, these vary greatly from a typical cookie because Session Variables disappear as soon as the users session is over. (If you close your web browser or turn your computer off, the cookie is permanently deleted.) Again, because the Session Variable uses the same security settings as a typical cookie, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the CDFA services or web sites you visit if you choose to decline or turn-off cookies.

If you have any questions regarding this site or any other CDFA affiliated web site, please contact the Public Affairs department at (916) 654-0462 or use the link provided below to send us an email directly. Thank you aging for your patronage.
